Drummond named to oversee BellSouth brand management

BellSouth Corp., Atlanta, said it named Jere Drummond to be its vice chairman responsible for advertising and brand management, public relations and regulatory and external affairs in a top management restructuring. Mr. Drummond had been president-CEO, BellSouth Communications Group. Also, Richard A. Anderson was named president of customer markets, responsible for all sales, marketing and "customer care" activities across domestic retail and carrier customer markets for voice, advanced data, Internet and video services. In the new management lineup, Donald J. Perozzi remains president of BellSouth's advertising and publishing group, responsible for domestic and international electronic and printed directory advertising.
