Dudley resigns from NHL

Rick Dudley, president of the National Hockey League's marketing unit, NHL Enterprises, New York, has resigned to become the president-chief operating officer of a new sports and entertainment division of Mentmore Holdings. Mentmore, a real estate investment company, has several business ventures with the NHL, including Rival, a hockey-inspired lifestyle apparel brand; and a new initiative to build local hockey rinks and entertainment centers bearing the NHL brand. Mr. Dudley's duties will be assumed by Steve Solomon, the NHL's senior VP-chief operating officer.
