DVD inks $5.3 mil deal with Infoseek

Online video retailer DVD Express has entered a two-year, $5.3 million advertising and content relationship with Infoseek Corp. DVD, which sells DVD movies and DVD-ROM, also signed an ad buy on Microsoft Corp.'s MSN, terms of which were not disclosed. DVD said that since it purchased space on America Online and AltaVista in September, its orders have doubled from 10,000 to more than 20,000 a week.
