E-stores get good holiday grades: Among consumers who shopped online over the holidays, 89% were "extremely/very satisfied,'' according to a survey released Jan. 17 by Greenfield Online, Wilton, Conn. That strong performance follows various reports earlier about customer dissatisfaction, largely tied to delivery problems. Shipping did turn out to be the area in the Greenfield study where consumers expressed most frustration; 15% of buyers had negative comments about shipping or poor packaging--though 37% had positive comments related to pricing, shipping or ease of shopping, according to the market researcher's online survey of 2,560 respondents.
