EarthWeb lobs $2 million campaign at IT professionals

EarthWeb, a site aimed at information technology professionals, is introducing its business-to-business services with a $2 million fourth quarter campaign themed, "Go EarthWeb ... further, faster with EarthWeb." Approximately 15 inflatable Humvees will be floated in high-tech areas in California such as downtown San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Walnut Creek, Cupertino and Freemont; newspaper ads will run in local editions of The Wall Street Journal and San Jose Mercury-News, and spots will air on network TV and cable.
