'Economist' consolidates ads at Weiss

Published on .

The Economist, New York, consolidated its account at Weiss Stagliano Partners, New York. Previously, Weiss handled the weekly's consumer campaign, while Mad Dogs & Englishmen held the trade account. Much like the latest campaign for The Wall Street Journal that broke last week, The Economist is looking to deliver a uniform message to both advertisers and readers. The Economist Marketing Director Humphrey Rolleston was recently promoted to corporate marketing director in charge of both consumer and trade advertising.
