Economist.com selects Northern Light for search technology

Published on .

Internet search engine Northern Light Technology (www.NorthernLight.com) will provide its search services to the Economist.com, a premier online source of global business and current affairs analysis. This custom capability will allow visitors to search and retrieve all content from The Economist back to 1997. This agreement will also give users access to information from The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), The Economist sibling company. Premium subscribers to The Economist magazine or Economist.com can search and retrieve articles free of charge; non-subscribers will have access to some content for free; other articles will be available on a pay-per-view basis.
