Economist shift Morgan

Willy Morgan, publisher of the North American edition of The Economist, moves to the daily Journal of Commerce, New York, as publisher. He succeeds Don Becker, who remains as CEO. The J of C was purchased by The Economist Newspaper Group from Knight Ridder last year. The Economist's publisher's post won't be filled immediately, but Paul Rossi, 35, who was director of classified advertising in London, is being dispatched to New York as North American ad director..
