(April 23, 2001) -- Emmperative, a joint venture between Worldwide Magnifi and Procter & Gamble, has agreed to acquire BrandCities, a brand-management service provider founded by business leaders from Kraft, Harvard Business School and Booz Allen & Hamilton. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Los Gatos, Calif.-based Emmperative provides services including asset management tools, infrastructure, dual high-bandwidth networks, patented marketing software and project management automation tools. BrandCities develops desktop tools for marketing professionals. -- Adrienne Mand
