More Energizer work to Bates

Published on .

Ralston Energy Systems named Bates Worldwide agency for its $20 million pan-European Energizer battery business, following a two-year review among six agency networks. Others in the review were DDB Needham Worldwide, Young & Rubicam, TBWA Chiat/ Day, Grey Advertising and BBDO Worldwide. Bates Dorland handled Duracell, leader in the U.K. (Energizer's biggest European market) until 1993, when it resigned because of the Bates network's growing Energizer business.
