CMGI companies Engage Technologies, a provider of profile-driven Internet marketing solutions, and Flycast Communications Corp., an online ad network, have teamed to deploy Engage's profiling technology across the Flycast Network. The alliance opens new advertising and targeting options based on comprehensive visitor profiling to advertisers in order to maximize the effectiveness of online campaigns. Flycast also will participate in Engage AudienceNet, significantly extending the reach and value of AudienceNet inventory for advertisers. AudienceNet is a Web-wide, profile-driven advertising and marketing network that uses anonymous, behavior-based profiles. Powering AudienceNet is profile data from Engage Knowledge, a database of anonymous user profiles that allows media buyers to specify a target audience based on demographics, geographics and over 800 interest categories.
