(April 25, 2001) -- Interactive media company and CMGI subsidiary Engage, Andover, Mass., launched a new service, "optimization by action," designed to maximize conversions, such as sales or online registrations. The company is expanding on similar services it has offered through Flycast Communications, which it acquired last year.

The tools allow real-time targeting based on click-through rates. Targets can also be based on conversion data such as number of units purchased, the type of service and sales revenue generated by a campaign. -- Adrienne Mand
