EntryPoint entices e-shoppers with $1 million lotto jackpot

Published on .

EntryPoint hopes to lure e-shoppers to its eWallet feature with a $1 million jackpot to be awarded at random to an individual opening and using EntryPoint's eWallet feature. EWallet automatically enters personal and credit card information to make purchasing easier. EWallet also stores billing and shipping address and online registration information that can be used at any Internet shopping venue. EntryPoint's promotion follows a similar multimillion-dollar giveaway orchestrated by iWon, a CBS Corp.-backed portal, which will give away a $10 million prize in April 2000.
