EPB acquires two agencies

Earle Palmer Brown, New York, said it acquired Silberman Group, West Chester, Pa., and agreed to acquire Reimel Carter, Philadelphia. Terms were not disclosed. Silberman, with $25 million in billings from clients including Comcast Cellular Communications and Coventry Healthcare, will become part of the EPB/Philadelphia office; founder Eli Silberman will become chairman of EPB office there. Reimel Carter, with $32 million in billings from clients including Acme Supermarkets and Delaware Investments, will be an independent division of EPB. Ted Reimel will remain as chairman and Ed Carter as president-CEO.
