Epsilon acquires ad agency

Epsilon Data Management, Burlington, Mass., a $100 million privately held database marketing company, acquired Cohn Godley Norwood, a $6 million Boston-based ad agency, for stock and cash. Epsilon acquired Cohn Godley for its creative and interactive capabilities. American Express Co., which sold Epsilon to an investment group in 1997, retains a 20% stake in the company.
