PARIS - A family of Inuit Eskimos testing Tupperware in the Arctic Circle star in Spanish food packaging manufacturer Cofresco's first pan-European campaign.
Created by DDB Worldwide, Paris, the torture tests depicted in the spot aim to show that Flexware products from the company's Albal line of plastic freezer and microwave-safe storageware stands up to consumers with the most demanding expectations.
The 20-second spot was shot in three days of hectic production in Baffin, where temperatures dropped to -20 Centigrade -- and launched in France in late-July.
Tandem DDB, Madrid, which has co-managed the Cofresco account with DDB, Paris, since 1997, will adapt the ads for Spanish TV in mid-August. The spot will also be adapted for English-language use, notably in Ireland, where Cofresco markets food storage products under the Glad brand.
