Esquire hires from GQ

Published on .

On the heels of Esquire's hiring of Scott Omelianuk, Tom Junod and Lisa Hintelmann from GQ, Esquire announced that it has filled six more editorial positions, and three of the six named have done work for GQ. Charles P. Pierce, formerly writer-at-large for GQ, will take over as sports columnist at Esquire, and Charles Bowden and Cal Fussman, who have written for GQ in the past, were named contributing editors to the Hearst title. Esquire's hirings have come following the hiring of Editor in Chief David Granger, formerly a GQ executive editor, in May.
