Established marketers poised to gain in Vietnam

Marketers already present in Vietnam, such as Citibank, Coca-Cola Co., Pepsi-Cola Co., Eastman Kodak Co. and Caterpillar, should find it easier to do business there if the Clinton administration announces this week plans to re-establish full diplomatic relations with its former enemy. David M. Goldstein, president of Channel Marketing Corp., Dallas, said companies are "still optimistic about the opportunities" in Vietnam.
