Etoys to file for bankruptcy

Once-highflying Internet retailer eToys said it would file for bankruptcy. The company expects to file within the next five to 10 days, citing outstanding liabilities of about $274 million. The company said that the stock, which it expects to soon be delisted from Nasdaq, was "worthless" and that the site would likely close early next month.
