EURO EFFIES MAKE DEBUT

[dusseldorf] Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, Paris, and Bartle Bogle Hegarty, London, and their clients IBM and Levi Strauss 501 will be awarded gold Effie prizes at the first Euro Effie advertising awards Nov. 22 in Dresden, Germany. Silver Effies went to Grey Advertising, London, for Procter & Gamble's Pantene Pro V shampoo, and to BDDP, Paris, for a Tag Heuer watch campaign. Young & Rubicam, Paris, and BBDO Worldwide, London, won Bronze Effies for their work on Pernod Ricard's Orangina soft drink and Pepsi Cola's Pepsi Max.

The six winners were chosen from 23 entries. The Euro Effies are organized by the sponsors of national Effie competitions and agency associations in Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.M
