EURO RSCG appoints Tiger in France

PARIS-- Euro RSCG Worldwide has appointed Francois Tiger as CEO for France. He succeeds Jean-Michel Carlo, who will now manage Diversified Agencies, a division of Havas Advertising. Havas also owns Euro RSCG Worldwide.

Mr. Tiger returns to Euro RSCG from D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, where he was CEO of the French group, based in Paris, and executive VP-EMEA, in charge of southern Europe. Francois Blachere, named president of DMB&B's Franch Group four months ago, succeeds Mr. Tiger as CEO at the DMB&B unit.

Before joining DMB&B, Mr. Tiger was executive VP of Euro RSCG Worldwide, where he was in charge of international coordination for the Peugeot and L'Oreal accounts from his Paris base. Earlier, he spent more than 20 years with Ogilvy & Mather France, progressing to president of O&M Group Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong, and then president of brand services Europe, Middle East, Africa, where he was in charge of the IBM coordination teams.

At Euro RSCG, Mr. Tiger will now be responsible for all Euro RSCG French agencies and will report to Euro RSCG Worldwide Chairman and CEO of Bob Schmetterer.
