Euro RSCG's Goudard joins BBDO

Published on .

Jean-Michel Goudard has resigned as CEO-international of Euro RSCG to become president-international of BBDO Worldwide, effective Feb. 1. The position at BBDO has been vacant for about six years. Mr. Goudard will report to CEO Allen Rosenshine and move from Paris to New York.

The move surprised people in the Euro RSCG organization, many of whom expected Mr. Goudard, 56, to retire sometime next year. Alain de Pouzilhac, chairman-CEO of Euro RSCG, will take over Mr. Goudard's duties. Steve Dworin, whom Mr. Goudard hired just last week as vice chairman-international, also will help, but he won't serve as a replacement. Mr. Dworin is expected to concentrate on overseeing Tatham Euro RSCG, Chicago, and on developing global business.
