While at the pan-European channel, Mr. Barrett was responsible forthe brand visibility of EuroNews, for advertising campaigns and pressactivities.
At AdLINK, Mr. Barrett will advise on all matters relating to Europeanmarketing. The main focus of his work will be on the development of newadvertising formats and specifically European products for the advertising and promotional sectors.
Separately, AdLINK has named Ann Daly, 34, VP-international sales. Ms.Daly will be responsible for canvassing the pan-European budgets forWeb sites AdLINK represents.
Ms. Daly has 10 years of international sales experience, working forGWP, the sales and marketing arm of Handlesblatt, and N-tv, where shecoordinated internal sales with CNN.
Founded in 1996, AdLINK has operations in Germany, Denmark, Finland,France, the U.K., Austria, Spain and Sweden. It markets online advertising space for Web sites like SAT.1, CeBIT, Neue Zurcher Zeitung, Le Figaro, Radio France, ZD Net and Yahoo!.
