Evenbetter, CNET strike merchant-price deal

Evenbetter.com, a price-comparison service back by Bertelsmann AG, struck a deal with CNET Networks to enable evenbetter users to scour prices across CNET's merchant database. Separately, CNET completed its $736 million purchase of mySimon, another price-comparison service, on March 1. In related news, Halsey Minor stepped down as CNET CEO and will continue as chairman, while Vice Chairman Shelby Bonnie assumes the CEO post.
