Twist: To drive interest in the current Nascar season, the official beer of the stock car racing association revisits its popular commemorative can promotion showcasing three famous racetracks. This year, seven-time Nascar champion driver Dale Earnhardt serves as TV spokesman, with extensive point-of-purchase support.

Vital statistics: Featured tracks are the Bristol Motor Speedway (through May), Texas Motor Speedway (June through July) and Atlanta Motor Speedway (August through September). The POP promotion also includes a coupon good for a free 10-ounce container of STP Son of a Gun protectant at participating retailers. A humorous 30-second spot airs on network and cable TV.
