EVENTS & PROMOTIONS: INSIDE LINE: REALIGNMENT AT MCCANN'S EVENTS ENTITY

Momentum Promotion Marketing Group is the new name of Momentum IMC, as McCann-Erickson Worldwide initiates a realignment of its event marketing unit. Several new international offices will be opened under the new name; headquarters will remain in New York. Mark Dowley, 32, was named chairman-CEO, and Mark Driscoll, 46, chief creative officer-worldwide. Both were previously managing directors of Momentum. The unit will open offices in London and Tokyo this month and Latin America next month.

Robert C. Horowitz takes the new post of senior VP at Trans World International, New York, the TV division of No. 1 event marketing company IMG, Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Horowitz was longtime president and co-founder of event marketing and management company Golden Gate Productions, Corte Madera, Calif.

Lipton Inc. is running a "romantic recipe" dessert contest for I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. Consumers can enter via Web site (www.taste-youlove.com) or mail; a free-standing insert promoting the contest breaks March 23. Top prize for the promotion, handled by Carlson Draddy & Associates, Westport, Conn., is a trip to New York to appear with brand spokesman and heartthrob Fabio.
