Quaker Oats Co., Chicago, has teamed with Universal Studios Consumer Products Group, Universal City, Calif., and the Harvey Entertainment Co. for a fall promotional tie-in to "Casper," the animated Fox Children's Network TV series. The promotion includes a mail-in offer for a bowl that changes color when cold milk is added.
Mott's, Stamford, Conn., this month launched a back-to-school promotion featuring a special edition of the personal computer game "Mind Castle," for $2.99 with three purchases of Mott's apple sauce or apple juice. Ryan Partnership, Westport, Conn., handles.
7-Eleven Stores will link with Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp.'s holiday flick "Jingle All the Way." It's the first promo deal brokered by J. Walter Thompson USA, Chicago, which handles advertising for 7-Eleven and media buying for Fox. In November and December, 7-Eleven will re-theme its stores around the film.
