Twist: To demonstrate its golf ball's long-drive capabilities, Pinnacle launches a point-of-purchase sweepstakes this month giving consumers a chance to win $1 million by driving a single golf ball into a target. The integrated promotion demonstrates Pinnacle's ad theme, "No ball goes farther."

Vital statistics: The sweepstakes began Aug. 1; entry deadline is Oct. 3. One prize winner receives an expenses-paid trip to attempt a 250-yard winning drive Oct. 25 during the Re/Max North American Long Drive Championship at CasaBlanca Golf Club in Mesquite, Nev.
