The Art of the Dead seeks a title sponsor for the nationally touring exhibit of the Grateful Dead's rare and original artwork, album covers and photos, starting in San Francisco in October. Billed as the first opportunity to associate with the legendary rock group through sponsorship, the tour will visit major cities in 1996-97. Cost: $150,000. Mundo Deportivo Soccer Cup '96 will kick off with sponsors for the second annual national championship of amateur Hispanic U.S. soccer leagues. The competition is expected to attract 40,000. Tournaments are slated for New York, Miami, Chicago, Houston and San Antonio, with finals in Los Angeles. Included: on-site sponsorship, retail tie-ins and media exposure. Cost: $5,000 to $60,000. Stadium Entertainment Concert Series & Tennis is lining up sponsors for its first tennis-and-music combination event series beginning this month and running through Labor Day.
