Outside magazine, Santa Fe, N.M., is lining up co-sponsors for the eighth annual Diet Pepsi Santa Fe Celebrity Ski Classic slated for Feb. 9 to 11, expected to draw more than 75,000 skiers and several celebrities including Kenny Loggins, Jonathan Silverman and Kim Alexis. Brut by Faberge Sailing Series is setting off with sponsors for its second annual global series featuring professional world class sailors competing between England, France, the U.S. and Bermuda at events slated for May and October. Winter Sports Fest, Brooklyn, N.Y., is rounding up sponsors for its first annual skiing, sledding and skating event slated for Feb. 7 to 11. Up to 100,000 participants are expected, including students at 50 local schools. Sponsorship includes in-school and in-event presence at costs ranging between $1,500 and $10,000; already participating are Coca-Cola Co. and Sled Dogs Co. The 1996 Pro Beach Soccer Tour, based on Brazil's acrobatic beach sport, seeks in-event and on-site sponsors for its global tour starting this spring and culminating in a championship slated for Miami Beach, Fla., on Nov. 23 and 24.
