Partnership for Parks, New York, is lining up sponsors for its new grass-roots effort to support more than 800 city parks in New York's five boroughs in 1997. Customizable sponsorships include Clean-Up Day, Green-Up Month and You Gotta Have Park!, as well as the 15,000-strong Parks Volunteers Program with retail tie-ins through the Parkscard membership program. San Francisco Film Society is screening sponsors for its 40th anniversary International Film Festival booked for April 24 to May 8. Billed as the longest-running film festival in the Western Hemisphere, the event will draw more than 75,000 viewers, featuring sponsorship opportunities throughout. Cost: $10,000 to $150,000 (title). Take a Girl to the Game seeks sponsors for its second annual effort drawing more than 250,000 women under age 18 to college campuses to see women's basketball games in February. More than 30 colleges are involved, along with the Girl Scouts of the USA, YWCA of the USA and Women's Sports Foundation. Vintage Virginia '97, Vienna, Va., is beckoning sponsors for its 16th annual wine-tasting and cultural festival slated for May 31 and June 1. Included: on-site sponsorship with product marketing and sampling amid live entertainment, fine arts and crafts, and children's activities. Cost: $1,500 to $50,000.
