Evergreen to break first TV ads

Evergreen Funds, Charlotte, N.C., on Feb. 20 launches its first-ever TV campaign, offering both brand messages and information on specific products. The TV push is part of a five-year strategic plan to increase awareness of Evergreen Funds, and builds on the brand print campaign that began last year and continues to run in national consumer and financial trade magazines, as well as national and regional newspapers. The initial spot, to air on cable news channels, focuses on the fact that Evergreen created the first family of mutual funds more than 65 years ago. Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco, handles.
