Excite@Home today unveils @Home 2000, a browser customized for subscribers of its high-speed cable modem service. It's the first time the broadband network has integrated with Excite, which @Home purchased last year. The service uses Excite's personalization features to customize content. It also increases space for Web pages plus household e-mail accounts and connections.Excite@Home, which is spending $100 million on all marketing this year, will launch a campaign in April to promote the new service. Amster Yard, New York, created print and radio spots. Gillespie, Princeton, N.J., handles online ads and direct marketing. Media will be coordinated in-house.
