Published on .

Christopher Escher, 38, VP-corporate communications, Apple Computer, is leaving to join Cunningham Communications, Palo Alto, Calif. as managing director. Mr. Escher's departure is not directly related to Apple's announcement yesterday naming Guerrino De Luca, head of Apple's Claris software subsidiary, its new worldwide marketing chief. Mr. De Luca succeeds VP-Corporate Marketing Satjiv Chahil, who will take an advisory role.
