Conde Nast Publications named Deanna Brown, director of the CondeNet new-media division, to the new post of publisher of a planned women's sports magazine. The magazine, to launch next year, will be targeted to women in their 20s and 30s who are active in sports such as swimming, golfing and tennis. The working title is Jump
, but insiders say several names are being tested.
Ms. Brown took the helm at CondeNet only four months ago after Rochelle Udell was named editor in chief of Self. No replacement has yet been named for Ms. Brown at CondeNet, which oversees Web sites including Epicurious and Conde Nast Traveler.
