Execs leave Saatchi's Toyota team

Published on .

Several top account managers on the Toyota Motor Sales USA account at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, Torrance, Calif., have left the agency, among them Dave Doyle, group account director, who moved to Goldberg Moser O'Neill, San Francisco, where he will take the post of account director on Kia Motors America. Also leaving were Elisa Franco, account executive on Toyota's truck business, who moved to TBWA Chiat/Day, Venice, Calif., to work on Nissan Motor Corp. USA's Infiniti Division, and Diane Hong, account supervisor, who moved to a San Francisco interactive agency. Saatchi & Saatchi meanwhile, is said to be close to signing a senior executive to take over the management director post on the Toyota business vacated earlier this year by Ian Beavis. Mr. Beavis joined Ford Motor Co.'s Lincoln-Mercury Division as marketing communications manager.
