Execs set for NBC Olympics unit

Keith Turner, senior VP-NBC Sports and Olympic sales, and Gary Zenkel, senior VP-Olympic marketing and business development, will report to the president of a new NBC Olympics Division that will handle the programming, sales and marketing of its Olympic Games broadcasts. President of the new unit is Randy Falco, president of NBC Broadcast & Network Operations. Dick Ebersol, the president of NBC Sports, will serve as chairman-CEO. NBC has the broadcast rights to all Olympic Games from 2000 to 2008. The new unit is currently pitching advertisers on long-term packages. General Motors Corp. has already sewn up the domestic car and truck category for NBC's Olympic-related telecasts through 2008.
