Internet shop Leapnet, Chicago, has cut 60 employees, or about about 13% of its workforce. The company layoffs affect all business units, including creative, marketing, globalization and e-business consulting. There has been consolidation in all of the offices, a spokeswoman said. Leapnet is headquartered in Chicago with offices in New York, Tulsa, Okla., London, Milwaukee and Austin, Texas. The Dallas office was recently consolidated into the Austin office. Leapnet's stock closed down 10% on March 15 following news of the layoffs, closing the day at 56 cents.

Eyada.com, an online talk radio network, has opened a studio and corporate offices in New York's Times Square. Eyada features talk shows ranging from comedy to sports.
