Sears, Roebuck & Co. uses a Gap-like ad style in its latest TV spots, which broke March 4. Two executions, centered on spring sales, back Sears' Crossroads and Apostrophe private-label apparel brands. Spots, from Y&R Advertising, Chicago and New York, air in prime time on broadcast and cable networks and in syndicated programming.
