FAST backs privacy guidelines

Published on .

Trade group FAST (Future of Advertising Stakeholders), formerly known as FAST Forward, announced it has endorsed the recommendations of the Online Privacy Alliance. After six months of studying online privacy proposals from various groups, FAST has launched a campaign to double adoption of the OPA guidelines among its members, including advertisers, agencies, publishers research groups and technology providers. The three key elements of the OPA guidelines are notice, choice and reasonable access. The full text of the Online Privacy Alliance guidelines can be found on their Web site.
