FCB acquires CM Partners

Foote, Cone & Belding, Chicago, acquired CM Partners, a Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based direct marketing agency, for an undisclosed sum. CM Partners, which had billings of about $100 million in 1998, will be integrated into FCB's marketing services unit, Impact Direct. Clive MacLean and Scott Grafft will be co-directors. Mr. MacLean had been exec VP-managing director of CM Partners, while Mr. Grafft held a senior-level position within Impact. Kris Land, presdient of CM Partners, becomes director-Integrated Communications at FCB, Chicago. Investment banker AdMedia Partners represented CM Partners.
