FCB shuffles management in New York, San Francisco

Foote, Cone & Belding, moving to strengthen the creative and management of two key offices, has shuffled executive posts its New York and San Francisco offices. Charley Taney, formerly president, FCB, New York, becomes chairman of the office, a new position, and will now head the AT&T Corp. account. Jeff Tarakajian, formerly managing director, becomes president. Tim Elliott, currently managing director in San Francisco, becomes managing director in New York. Geoff Thompson, meanwhile, becomes chairman-CEO and chief creative officer of the FCB San Francisco office, while maintaining his post as worldwide creative director.
