FCB wins more L.A. Cellular ads

AT&T Corp., New York, consolidated some $30 million in spending for its recently acquired L.A. Cellular subsidiary at Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco. Losing business is Deutsch, Marina del Rey, Calif., and New York. AT&T plans to extend to southern California its Digital One Rate program, which offers a free Nokia PCS phone and flat-rate service. The additional spending brings FCB's total AT&T billings in San Francisco to more than $200 million. AT&T previously had a minority stake in L.A. Cellular but recently increased its share to a majority.
