FCC approves Disney/Cap Cities

The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday OK'd Walt Disney Co.'s takeover of Capital Cities/ABC. The FCC voted 5-0 to approve the $19 billion deal. The commission said Disney couldn't own radio and newspaper properties in Fort Worth, Texas, and Pontiac-Detroit, Mich. Disney has one year to sell or swap the properties in each city.
