FEMA looking for shop on $17 mil account

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is seeking a shop to handle advertising for its National Flood Insurance Program, with $17 million in spending. FEMA's Flood, Fire & Mitigation Division sent out requests for proposals Aug. 28 to more than 50 agencies, including Eisner & Associates, Baltimore; GSD&M, Austin, Texas; and New York agencies J. Walter Thompson USA, Bates USA, TBWA Chiat/Day and incumbent Bozell Worldwide. Responses are due Sept. 28.
