Fidelity breaks new Powerstreet ads

Published on .

Fidelity Investments, Boston, today kicked off a flight of celebrity-studded commercials for Powerstreet online trading @ fidelity.com, its online stock brokerage. The spots feature celebrity pairs such as magicians Penn & Teller and astronaut "Buzz'' Aldrin with home improvement guru Bob Vila. The ads, from Gotham, New York, are part of a launch campaign for Powerstreet, estimated at up to $50 million. The push--including TV, print, online and outdoor advertising--broke Sept. 25 with teaser ads.
