Fidelity exec jumps ship to Dreyfus

Dreyfus Corp., New York, has hired David P. Sheehan, 37, away from Fidelity Investments as its director of retail marketing, overseeing advertising, marketing and database marketing. Mr. Sheehan previously served as senior VP of Fidelity's Retail Distribution group in Boston. In the newly redefined position, Mr. Sheehan replaces Joy Heckendorf, previously president of marketing and advertising, who left the company earlier this month.
