The London-based agency will lead the account comprising brand consultancy, advertising, internal marketing, Internet and sponsorship, with support from BBDO, Helsinki.
Kari Vainio, executive vice president communications and investor relations of Stora Enso, said, "We chose BBDO because we were not only impressed with their credentials and thinking but also their ability to offer a specialist team with relevant experience. Our vision is to be the leading forest products company in the world."
The Finnish company however would not release details of the incumbent or the five other competing agencies. The budget is likely to be worth several million dollars according to industry estimates. -- Ali Qassim
