Fla. fires scrub CBS auto race plans

CBS, New York, said the July 4 Nascar Pepsi 400 auto race in Daytona, Fla., the first auto race scheduled for broadcast in network prime time, was postponed due to out-of-control wildfires in the area of the racetrack. CBS said it will air reruns of its regular Saturday night schedule.
