Hank Meyer Associates, the public relations agency that attracted Arthur Godfrey and Jackie Gleason to Miami Beach, Fla., and turned it into an international destination, is closing its doors after 47 years.

Mr. Meyer started by sending a client's tropical shirt to President Truman at the winter White House in Key West; the president donned the shirt and sales soared.

Mr. Meyer, 73, who specialized in entertainment clients, plans to continue consulting from an office on the boulevard bearing his name.
